Voice Actors are Critical To Bringing Shows To Life

One of the most common ways voice over artists are used is in animated films and television. For instance, cartoon characters (like the kids on the show ‘South Park’) which are animated. Each “kid” needs a voice-actor to give them personalities and to make the show work.

There are times when well known actors are used as the voice talent as well, such as Mike Myers or Cameron Diaz, who played key rolls in the “Shrek” movies. Or, it is a specialized voice actor (rather than a screen-actor ) who portrays the characters. Either way, using an actor’s voice is critical to building the animated character and bringing them to life.
