What is something that you use everyday of your life. Something that gets you where you’re going? Something that you couldn’t accomplish many daily tasks without. Many of you probably answered… a car. But the real answer is… an education. True, many of us use our car everday, to get us to our destinations and to complete some of the tasks of daily living. But without an education, many of that would not be possible either. We use things that we have learned in high school or college everyday, without even thinking about it. If you are looking for employment, searching for a different job, or trying to land the position of your dreams; your education plays a large part in the puzzle. Employers look at the level of education that applicants possess. A college graduate will have a better chance of obtaining a position than a high school graduate. A high school graduate will have a better chance of obtaining a position than a high school dropout. Experience is taken into consideration, but an education is unmatched.
