How to Transfer iPod to PC or to another iPod. The first step is to make sure that the computer you are going to use has the iTunes software program on it. The iTunes program, as you probably know, is used by iPod users to synch their iPod and download music. Once you have made sure iTunes, or another similar software program, is installed hook your iPod to the computer and synch it. Then, open iTunes and simply follow the directions and select the music that your friend wants and copy it to the hard drive of the computer. It is handy to remember where on the hard drive you saved the files and under what name, but, if you keep iTunes open, the information should all be at your fingertips.
